If I had to choose between the two right now, it would be the 480.

What little you lose in efficiency, you gain in price.

Then if you consider the slightly better hardware and GCN, you can see the probable advantage expected with newer games and matured drivers.

Hey don't want to be the bearer of bad news but..... Eclap had 7950CF about a year and a half ago. Don't fall into the trap of thinking he is bias because he is not.

I don't even think the 480 will be better in the long run, I can't help feel that GCN has peaked, while Pascal can only get better.

GCN is the easier hardware to port multi platform games, especially when using a low level api, while you have devs like Oxide that have pretty much built the engine around it.

There can't be much more they can do that devs can get out of it
