Review: G.Skill TridentZ Royal DDR4 4000 MHz CL17 (4x 8GB)
Today, we are looking at G.Skill TridentZ Royal 4000 MHz CL17 memory in a 32 GB set consisting of four 8 GB modules. At the end of 2018, we had an opportunity to check a lower-clocked kit from that series (3200 MHz), but the capacity was 2 x 8 GB back then.

yep too bad like everyone I think we are interest to see what 4000Mhz changes on the new Ryzen but it's ok we can wait
4000Mhz is only supported by a few good bin cpus if I understood right ?!
anway what I wanted to say is that I've got several Corsair memory sticks but also 4 g.skill 3600Mhz and not only do the g.skill boot easier with cpu overclock, crash less in aida64 stress test but they systematically give me better results, if you don't care about corsair icue rgb definitely go with g.skill
p.s. the g.skill rgb app doesn't drain much system ressources if you keep to simple colors or turn the rgb off, avoid complex rgb effects especially the "audio visualizer", it will make you lose a few fps and benchmark points for sure, also use 5% or more cpu depending on what your cpu is (a 8 cores or less will definitely feel it)

Yep, I also would like to see it tested with intel 10x00 / Ryzen 5x00 and something faster than RTX2080Ti, any change to do that @Hilbert Hagedoorn mate

Intels read score way too low. Probably some secondary, like tWR or tCWL too loose, and tRAS
