Review: FSP Dagger Pro (850W PSU)

Review: FSP Dagger Pro (850W PSU)

On our test bench today is the FSP DAGGER PRO 850 W power supply. We recently put their 1200W ATX unit to the test. They also make chassis and UPSes in addition to PSUs. The series came out at the end of August 21. This means that it has been on the market for less than a year. This shouldn't make it useless yet, because the PCI-Express 5.0 generation's power connector will cause a revolution in the next few months.

Hmm, fully modular that means I would have to break out the Vaseline and where is the floppy drive power connecter.
Only kidding. :)
Some PSU's now come with a 10year warranty and it appears this does as well making for a cost effective purchase. :D
Nice photo showing the internal and not much in the way of a heat sink. A sign of high efficiency.

FSP has a tiny sales network within EU, finding one of their product to buy, this is close to impossible.

idk if this helps (i hope so) but FSP (Taiwan) now owns Fortron (US)
Fortron psus have always been excellent now they have the same spec/size/ratings
hopefully you can find one in Greece.
