Review: Far Cry 6: PC graphics performance benchmark analysis

Ubisoft presents Far Cry 6, and we'll test it with 40 graphics cards and technologies like the shading engine, Raytracing as well as FSR, which can be applied toGeForce graphics cards as well. We'll test the game on the PC platform relative to graphics card performance with the latest AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards.

Oh boy, FC always looks great and FC5 on my current set-up looks great but I just don't enjoy the endless driving around that was introduced in FC2. Bought FC5 with a 75% discount, have yet to finish LOL

Ubisoft says in their reviewer guide, that the Texture Pack requires a GPU with 12GB of Vram.
So maybe this is the issue.
With raytracing enabled it uses even more vram. That could be the issue on 8gb cards. Hilbert memory usage is on par from what i've seen around.

Looks like AMD fine vine. Im happy with 6800 performance.

Just look RX 580 performance vs GTX 1060 . How it was on launch how it looks after few years.
don't get too excited, amd have a history of messing with fc built in benches.they did it in fc5 with water and seems like here in a custom scene amd don't have as much of an advantage.
6800 is like 3080ti/3090 in the benchmark,in a custom scene it's more in line with 3070

Other reviewers are having different results. Probably because they test in different areas of the game, or different settings, different hardware. etc.
And you missed the point where I wrote "Ubisoft says in their reviewer guide...."

"It’s also worth noting that Far Cry 6 features an HD Texture Pack. However, this pack requires more than 11GB of VRAM at 4K/Ultra/Ray Tracing. Here is what Ubisoft told us about the game’s HD Texture Pack."
"We can also confirm that both the RTX2080Ti and the RTX3080 display low-resolution textures on some surfaces with the HD Texture Pack at 4K/Ultra/Ray Tracing."
