Review: DeepCool Captain 240 PRO

In this review we test the DeepCool Captain 240 PRO, the kit has been updated with an improved All-in-One Liquid cooling kit is very decent in performance for an AIO with a 240mm rad. Next to that the pump and radiator fans now come with proper addressable RGB LED lighting as well as an included RGB controller.

Heard a lot of horror stories about these leaking around the glass pipe from the heatsink area.

I would assume those are regarding the previous version.

Let's hope DeepCool fixed all previous issues with this "updated design" in the new PRO version.

maybe, a bunch of their older aios are on sale on newegg , some as much as 40% off, trying to get rid of old stock, before refreshing their product line maybe?

I know someone that lost a brand new x99 motherboard to one of their aios....

Nice to see the next iteration of this cooler, I've bought the normal Captain 120 RGB a while back strictly based on the looks.

RIP x99 mobo.

Imo a recall/rma of bad batches(if possible to identify anw) would be a better move from DeepCool than having units out there discounted or not with potential leakage and a possibility to damage consumer's hardware.

In case any potential buyers who may come across this thread, test it thoroughly before installing(like powering it up and run it for some time first before install).

So, still no reason to get anything other than the Corsair H110i.
