Review: Corsair SCIMITAR RGB mouse
We review the Corsair Gaming SCIMITAR RGB gaming mouse, the device is sturdy in design, aesthetically pleasing with configurable RGB LEDs and has a grip that is intensely impressive. The looks are all about the configurable thumb buttons though as that jumps out like a cannon. The high DPI (up-to 12,000) mouse is fully programmable from A to Z. It might be the most remarkable mouse’s we have seen and tested to date!

Above an Ultra HD videoof the mouse - give it some time to look at and we'll cycle through some color options and animations available with the CUE software.

Sadly, I have had this mouse two times, with the same results. Unable to get the buttons on the side to work properly with the software. I would assign 1-12 to 1-12 on the keyboard and they would not work in say WoW. Also the fwd/back would not work either. They worked for awhile, and someones on a different pc would work, but not on my main pc. Frustrating because the mouse is great feeling.

Yeah I swear by wireless, I got the sidewider X8 years ago only had to replace the rechargeable battery once and the mouse is still going strong, before that I had a slew of wired mice an on every one of them the wire always wore out.

I have a Corsair M90/95 (2 of them actually) and I love it. The button layout is very different, but I find it to be by far the most natural layout as far as moving my thumb to hit all of the buttons easily. The quality and sturdiness of it is impeccable as well. If this one has the same build quality then it's definitely a contender.
