Review: Corsair H150i Elite LCD

Corsair has a refresh of liquid coolers, this round the Corsair H150i Elite LCD (IPS) edition is put on our test bench where we can check out the behavior of the triple-fan 360mm model. Corsair has paired the kit with new fans and a very outspoken LCD model, which we like very much.

great review on a decent product.

but that price.
this is in no way an Alphacool Eisbaer, with its copper radiator and it's quick release fittings or it's expandability or ability to refill.
but for unsophisticated gamers this has all of the eye-candy and for builders of theme pcs it has it's own ecosystem of matching products.

but my biggest nag is about iCue. i absolutely hate it and i've stopped buying otherwise excellent Corsair products because of it. i was very happy to find out that they've instituted mobo compatibility for argb control...but they're still selling an unnecessary controller as part of this rig ($95 worth). i'm only now looking again at Corsair RAM, keyboards, and accessories.

Alphacool Eisbaer warrenty is 2 years.
Corsairs 5.
Alphacool wont cover damaged pc parts, due to leaking. Corsair does.
2 years is a joke.
Icue also is a joke. That, we agree on.

Man I really love the look of those LCD screens. I wish I had a spare $300 for one.

While this new one looks great... I still wont budge from my H115i platinum until they make improvements to the top end temps.
