Same, that's why I went from Razer Deathadder to Deathadder 3,5G and currectly Deathadder 5G elite. Won't change this simple with cable design ever.

I like it, especially that it has extra USB port.
Nice review, it also would be nice to see the mouse next to a hand to see the size of the mouse.

Personally, I just like the button layout. Too many mice either go overboard or skimp on buttons these days.
I have no desire to have 40 functions assigned to my left hand and like 5 with my right. Reminds me a little of the Logitech G700.
Not sure I care about the wireless charging, though. I just keep a set of Eneloops ready to swap at a moment's notice. They work for both my mouse and my gamepads, too.

Thanks for the review.
It looks like a solid MMO mouse, and as Domingo realized, it can be a nice alternative to G700. Too bad that Logitech made G703 basically as a copy of wireless G403. It should definitely have their signature wheel and 4+ buttons on thumb. Oh well, such a waste :/
Wireless charging sound good in this mouse. Yet, G603 can work really long even on a single battery (making G703 even more obsolete). Where wireless charging may come in handy is reducing mouse weight to absolute minimum. With 128g, Dark Core is lighter than G700, still it's heavier than G603. And lighter mice make a world of difference in shooters.
If one makes a mouse with 4 thumb buttons, PMW336x optical sensor, Logitech-like wheel, and <100g, and I'd buy it today.

Great review as always Hilbert.
Personally not a product for me, I prefer no-RGB + simplicity + need a cable.
