Review: ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha (X399 Threadripper)

Review: ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha (X399 Threadripper)

We review perhaps the best X399 from ASUS, the ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha review. A motherboard that impresses in many ways and features, an X399 motherboard that easily manages the latest many-core Threadripper procs. We'll pair it with the 24-core / 48 threads Threadripper 2970 WX today.

Nice motherboard from asus, but in my opinion i think they shouldn't label this mb with ROG. Afterall the threadripper is not really a gaming oriented cpu, i mean it can and will put out a decent performance when paired with a strong gpu.

wow.
the only thing more impressive than this mobo is HH's time, experience, and patience in testing it.
and i'm not providing intimate services from my pie hole (pi?) to his nethers, i'm sincere.
this is the proper mobo Asus should have lead with on the x399 front, but as they say, better late than never.
my Asrock is feeling weak (tho' it's a sexy mATX), this is the one ring to rule them all.

Excellent review Hilbert , great read. This is the one beast motherboard that will last you for a lifetime even when push it hard. VRM on this mobo is amazing and no cutting corners this time around. Great job from Asus !

depending on AMD, it's either the top Navi card or this mobo for Christmas. i'm starting to save ducats right now.
