Review: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X processor

For a hundred bucks less, priced at 229 USD, you could also be interested in the six-core / twelve threads Ryzen 5 2600X.  The hexa-core flagship comes with an increased base and turbo frequency running upwards to 4.2 GHz, this might be the new CPU for many to get their overall desktop and PC Gaming freak on going.

HH, great review. I love the 720p resolution to measure engine limitations but I think this is the best bang for the buck processor right now! Its within blinking distance to the mighty 8700K at 1080p + resolutions with a good GPU and a good deal cheaper.

Can almost get a 1080Ti with the savings which is a win win!

Interesting to see 6C/12T Ryzen 2600X @ 3.6 - 4.2 GHz matching 6C/12T i7-8700 @ 3.7 - 4.7 GHz in multithreaded workloads.
