6800XT is right on the RTX 3080’s heals at 4K. Will be cool to see what the 6900 can do

this is what i expected.
the 6800xt is the one for me, it'll be exactly what i need.
btw...
AMD always has wiggle room on pricing, do not be disappointed the 1st week at list (or higher) prices. they are expecting a response from Nvidia especially inbetween $400 - $600.
expect a 1660ti like Ampere to make hay until rx 670 (equiv) comes out.
i expect there to be better pricing and availability after 11/24 (US Thanksgiving)

So at 1080p AMD is king, at 1440p AMD and Nvidia are about equal and 4K it's Nvidia's territory. I assume that at 3440x1440, Nvidia will have an advantage as well.

I just read the TPU Smart Memory review for comparison and when they used a Ryzen 5900X system vs Intel, they had a major uplift of many games over the Intel CPU alone, with or without SAM. A couple of their review test were weird like
F1 @ 4K FPS plummets by 40% vs 1440p on the Ryzen SAM system, yet it is STILL nearly double vs the Intel per resolution @ over 300 FPS?!
Some were the same or nearly the same. I wonder how much fine wine is there still left from AMD as drivers matures on the 6x00 series?!
Too bad no one did a 6800 SAM review to see how good it can be in a full AMD ecosystem.

The card seems to fall off at higher resolutions a bit more than you'd expect any tech gurus care to enlighten us a bit?
3080 has 50% more bandwidth,not a surprise it shows.
