Resident Evil Resistance beta now available on Steam

After a slight delay, the Resident Evil Resistance open beta is finally available on Steam. It weighs 9GB and PC gamers can download and play it right now. In addition, it uses Denuvo anti-tamper technology.



In this open beta, you will be able to try the new online multiplayer 1 vs 4 of Resident Evil where four survivors face a sinister Master Mind. By playing as the Master Mind your goal is to prevent survivors from escaping in any way. Instead, survivors must team up to fend off attacks from the Mastermind and complete puzzles to escape the map before time runs out. The open beta will not save any data. Even when closing the application all your progress will be restarted. The developer also noted that the game contains foul language and explicit violence. Along with the arrival of this beta, its PC requirements were also revealed. Here you have them:

Minimum requirements:

  • OS: WINDOWS 7, 8.1, 10 (64-BIT Required)
  • Processor: Intel Core  i5-4460 or AMD FX ™ -6300 or better
  • Memory:  8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 760 or AMD Radeon ™ R7 260x with 2GB of video RAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network:  Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 12 GB of available space
  • Additional Notes:  The expected performance with these specifications is 720p / 30FPS. If you don't have enough graphics memory to run the game with the texture quality of your choice, you should go to Options> Graphics and decrease the texture or shadow quality, or decrease the resolution.
