Resident Evil HD Remaster - System Requirements
Official PC requirements for Resident Evil HD Remaster have been shared via the game's Steam page. Capcom recommends a quad-core CPU with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX 560 or an AMD Radeon HD 6950 in order to enjoy the game.
Resident Evil HD Remaster releases on January 20th, and you can view both its minimum and recommended requirements below:

OS: Windows 7 SP1 / Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, AMD Athlon X2 2.8 GHz, or better
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX260, ATI Radeon HD 6790, or better
Monitor Resolution: 1024x768 or higher
DirectX: Version 9.0c
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Hard Drive: 20 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectSound compatible (must support DirectX 9.0c or higher)
Additional Notes:
Controller: Supports Keyboard +Mouse. Genuine Xbox 360 PC compatible controller or comparable XInput-based gamepad recommended.

the re-mastered version still looks 3 years old to me. Personally, If I want to play a classic over again, I would prefer playing it in its original form. But thats just me, I crazy!

Well it's a HD version of the Camecube "remaster" which is probably a decade old about now. I'll pick this up at some point on the cheap, but I'm in no rush after getting the original trilogy on my PS3 for under £10 a few months back.
