The as-yet-unannounced Resident Evil 8 is slated to get released during the first quarter of 2021, after a slight delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic that will prevent its launch in early January.

Capcom has yet to reveal anything about Resident Evil 8, but recent rumors suggest the title will be more open than the latest installments in the franchise. Furthermore, it has been said that the game will continue the story of Ethan Winters , the protagonist of Resident Evil 7, and that he will lean more towards other types of creatures instead of zombies. It should be noted that many of these rumors also come from 'Dusk Golem'.

As we already said, there is no official information about Resident Evil 8, so we recommend that you take everything you read here with a pinch salt.
