Take-Two Interactive's fiscal year ended on March 31, therefore the company released its financial results. Among the games produced by the firm is Red Dead Redemption 2, which has already sold over 44 million units.

To date, the entire series has sold approximately 67 million copies. For those who are unaware, Red Dead Revolver is a Rockstar game launched in 2004 for the PlayStation 2, however it appears that Take-Two does not consider the first title, since it only lists Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Red Dead Online. Red Dead Redemption 2 trails its older brother, GTA V. This information comes from a poll conducted by the NDP Group, a market research and sales tracking service provider, and is featured in Take-financial Two's report.

In addition to these two fantastic games, Rockstar made the online mode available for free to anybody who owned a copy of the game. Because of its success, the company decided to release Red Dead Online as a separate game.

Take-Two owns numerous successful IPs as well as the studios that create them. Rockstar's franchises include LA Noire, Midnight Club, GTA, and Red Dead Redemption. It also includes 2K Games brands such as Borderlands, which has sold over 75 million copies, Bioshock, which has sold 39 million copies, and Sid Meier's Civilization, which has sold over 62 million units.
