Of course, everybody with a modern motherboard has some sort of Realtek chip on it, whether that is for audio or LAN. Soon they will launch NAND controllers as well, and one in specific already will support PCI-Express Gen 4.0.

That specific chip is the RTS5771 and is expected to reach the market next year. The controller will be DRAM cache based however perf is not yet known. Thing is that with eight NAND channels and a pci-express 4.0 x4 interface with speeds up to 1,200 MT/s it will be fast. Realtek also releases a RTS5765DL controller, this one has a pci-express 3.0 x4 interface and supports four NAND channels and thus will be a more mainstream product.
