Raidmax Vampire PSU and Vampire Winterfall Chassis
Raidmax has released their Vampire PSU and Vampire Winterfall Chassis. The Taiwanese manufacturer presents with the Vampire PSU series particularly reliable and stable power supplies for budget-conscious user. The 80+ Gold certified power supply units impress with their magnificent price-performance ratio. Also new is the Vampire Winterfall, a voluminous Big Tower in white that offers soft touch surface and a variety of practical features.
The highly efficient power supplies are specifically designed for power hungry gaming systems. A silent running, temperature controlled 135 mm fan is responsible for the cooling of the internal components. The automatic control guarantees a continuous air flow at a minimum noise level. The Vampire power supplies use a semi-modular cable management. ATX- and EPS-plugs are fixed to the PSU, while PCI-E, SATA and Molex plugs are modular. This allows the user to choose the optimum cable set-up for their system. In order to meet the power requirements of modern systems, the Raidmax Vampire use two separate 12V rails.
The Vampire Winterfall - a variant of the current Raidmax flagship - provides ample space for E-ATX motherboards, extra-long graphics cards up to 330 mm in length and large CPU coolers. The futuristic design of the gaming case is highlighted by elegant ornaments in the soft touch surface of the case front. A huge window side panel allows optimal insight into the case interior.
Internally up to seven 2.5 or 3.5 inch drives can be installed in easily removable HDD-trays. External the Big Tower offers five 5.25 inch drive bays. At the back ten PCI expansion slots for installing multi-GPU systems are available.
Many other practical features such as a 2.5 inch docking station in the top cover, a multi-level fan control, 2 x USB 3.0, easy to clean dust filters, tool-less installation of optical drives, full cable management and an easily removable MESH cover at the back of the top cover complete the picture of a versatile, high performance gaming tower.
The MSRP for the different PSU models ranges from 74.99 Euro for the 700 Watt model to 114.99 Euro for the 1,000 Watt power supply. The MSRP of the Vampire Winterfall is 129.99 Euro. The Vampire in black is still available for 119.99 Euro. All prices are incl. 19% VAT.
