Radeon RX 570 with 16GB of graphics memory spotted
Yeah, I had to check that twice as well. But as it turns out, Sapphire has released a Radeon RX 570 with 16GB GDDR5 graphics memory. The product seems to be based on the Nitro+ design.
So the 16 GB is certainly not needed for any kind of gaming, you could, of course, argue that in ultra HD some games could pass 8GB, but really this card is not fast enough. So why a 16GB version then? Well, mining is the answer here. As it turns out
ASIC miners using hat is called the Cuckoo Cycle algorithm benefits from such big memory values and can utilize between 5.5 and 11 Gigabytes of memory. A lunch/availability date has not been confirmed yet, neither is the price known.

Can run Final Fantasy XV at 4k and not run out of memory!
But core performance of the 570 limits the performance lol.
It can run RE2 with maxed out 8gb+ textures and still having enough vram despite being slower than some cards with much less vram that cant.

16 Gb is the standard. Ha ha, just a joke, but I'm afraid many GTX 1060 and RTX 2060 owners will run out of their 6 Gb memory very soon in 2019, even on 1080p, if they want to use the sharpest textures and such.

It was just a joke.
Of course I would not recommend this card for future proofing.
If only you could actually see the difference at 1080p.
my mind blocked off the mining completely since i thought it died off completly but i guess if there are currencies that still are profitable ...there will be miners , Dunno till they need 16gb for 1080 p i think they will be irrelevant imagine if they had given the 7850 8gb vram .... sure it is good amount for 2019 but the gpu core ...is too weak to render anything playable 1080p when will use all those .... (( ultra textures etc)) else the 7850 with generous reductions in quality it is still capable of gaming

So this will be between Vega 64 and radeon VII. Now I feel really weird with my lower end gpu.
