So you're on vacation, have a small console but need a display? Or you're working overseas on your laptop but need that bit more screen space? Well, the GeChic On-Lap 1102H Portable External Display might come in handy. It's a simple external monitor that you can carry along in a portable fashion with your laptop. I was kind of into it until I saw that price tag... o_O Would have been a handy tool to quickly hook up to server blades.

I still do not get it. There are tons of 1080p of higher resolution cheap tablets. They have battery, touchscreen and they have a lot of extra electronics.
Why can't there be similarly priced or cheaper external screen with touch? Those tablets have everything needed except touch to USB controller anyway.

Its commonly referred to as "first to market". There is always a premium attached to such products. You'll see the price come down once they get some competition.

Hey so I'm an auditor and I'm on the road a lot and this is something I love seeing however at that price point it's unrealistic. There are other products on the market that are similar would you guys check out and review things like the AOC e1759fwu a 17" Usb3 portable monitor for?
