QNAP offers QXG-10G 2TB Dual 10 Gigabit LAN cards

QNAP releases Dual 10 Gigabit LAN cards with three different types of brackets: full height, low profile, and QNAP NAS (Network Attached Storage) bracket.

The product is based on an AQtion AQC113C" is the controller, and it supports five levels of network speeds: 10/5, 2.5, 1Gbps, and 100Mbps. The controller is manufactured by Marvell. An RJ45 connector serves as the network interface, and a Category 6 or above cable (with a maximum transfer rate of 5 Gbps for CAT-5e) is required to reach a transfer rate of 10 Gbps.

PCI-Express3.0 (x4) is the bus interface, and a heat sink with a fan is utilized to keep the chip cool. The operating systems that are supported are Windows 10/8.1/8.0/7, Linux 3.10 or above, and the direct sales price is $227.
