In October, Nvidia is expected to reveal its next graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 400 series. They seem to be the subject of fresh rumors on a daily basis.

As a company, you might want to sell off all of the old inventory so you can make room for the new models. This is especially true now, since cryptomining is becoming less profitable due to rising energy prices and the defusing of the corona crisis. As a result, demand for graphics cards has fallen in recent months.

For what it's worth, Nvidia has dropped the cost of the Founders Edition (FE) versions of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, 3090, and 3080 Ti. Nvidia dropped the price of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition from 2,249 euros to 1,899 euros in the middle of July 2022, which is great. That discount should be considered temporary. To some true extent, since the price has dropped even more, to a mere 1,329 Euros. It's now almost 500 euros cheaper than the prior "discount" pricing. Given the low adoption rate of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, it is assumed that supply chains are saturated. If the next generation of graphics cards is released before the RTX 3090 Ti, it will be tough to position it among demanding gamers. So it would appear that the price has been drastically cut yet again.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition, which was formerly 1,649 euros, is now available for the same price. The price has been reduced from 1,499 euros to 1,199 euros, a reduction of 450 euros. The price of the Founders Edition of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has fallen from 1,199 euros to 1,089 euros. Look deeper and AIB cards are spotted under the 1000 EUR marker already. So the price reduction is less drastic here.
