Anyone who believes that the DOOM demo was anything beyond proof that the silicone works and it's on track for HPC release on March, is a bit deluded. Also drivers for HPC applications are much easier to make and maintain than the whole mess requiring porting from the DX9 days for the gaming desktop.

IMHO DX11 will be prevailing API for a very long time.
Yep, so lets see some Dx11 performance, its no good just being a 1080 in DOOM.
