PowerColor Radeon HD 5970 with Liquid Cooling
The folks over at TUL slash PowerColor are releasing a new version of the Radeon HD 5970, this time around they slapped a Liquid Cooling block on it so you can add it to your existing liquid-cooling setup.
The water-block cools the GPU, memories and VRMs and makes a remarkably close resemblance to the EK-FC5970. For optimal compatibility Tul will deliver the card with 3/8" and 1/2" fittings. Apparently the cooler can keep the product a good 30 Degrees C lower than the reference cooler which should get you a little more headroom for overclocking and tweaking. The card comes 'pre' overclocked to 750 Mhz (from 725) and the memory at 4200 MHZ (from 4000). Starting January the 21st the product can be found in e-tail. prices have not been announced, but we expect that 800 USD / 600 EUR is plausible.
