Battlefield 6 to be announced on June 9

Battlefield 6 to be announced on June 9

Earlier last week the trailer of the next installment Battlefield 6 got leaked.  Electronic Arts only suggested a few weeks ago that the reveal would be in June, without commenting on the repeated leaks.

A user on Reddit shares the somewhat blurry, stuttering images on the forum platform with a warning for people who are sensitive to flashes of light and/or have epilepsy. It is not clear where the user got the images from.

EA confirmed that the next Battlefield will be released for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, as well as the previous generation of consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, the game will also be available on PC. An official release date has not yet been set, but EA has already announced that the game will be released during the holiday season, at the end of 2021. Check out the trailer here.

Update:  Battlefield 6 will be unveiled on June 9, according to the official Battlefield Twitter account. It is not yet clear when the game will appear or in which setting the shooter will take place. Publisher EA will announce more at 4 p.m. local time. It was already known that Battlefield 6 should be released at the end of 2021. That was stated by publisher EA in the quarterly figures in February this year.

This series is finished. It will never be what it was back in the day before BF4 lets face it. Its SJW all inclusive BS and not the WAR experience we really want

Looks pretty good to me, even with a big logo slapped in the middle of the screen.

Every time a new Battlefield is about to launch we get these highly complex pre-rendered movie sequences which always bear minimal to no resemblance to the actual realtime Frostbite game-engine or play (which is always much worse)

Looking forward to it. I hope it runs well on a 1080Ti because there won't be any GPU upgrades for at least another year it seems.

Nothing changed since BF2. Whole series lags very far behind Quake Wars in playability.
