XFX, yeah they are still around has a bit of a leak at hand. Well that, or they are once again starting a viral. In the photos below you can see custom design 5700 with. The board features 8+6-pin power connectors.

Itt's a thick beast, so the cooling should be up-to-snuff and has two 10cm spinners.  A model Fatboy perhaps?

It does look like a 590 fatboy. Lets hope it will have better thermals becouse 590 had some vram issues.

Don't know about the fatboy but saw a comment comparing the design to the WallE head which yeah kinda.

There's been worse though and what matters is how it performs..mostly. :D

EDIT:
Doesn't mean there aren't some curious designs out there though.

(It kinda looks like a gas stove or something of that nature.)

Anyways just a few more weeks and more of these custom cooler and custom PCB boards should be unveiled, going to be interesting to see how they perform. :)

Well technically I suppose it's already possible to rig together a custom cooler or even water and that's about as good as it gets for the reference board - which is probably once again pretty solid overall. But it'll be fun to see what's going to be available for the 5700 and the later 5800 this Winter or when it might land on the market.

EDIT: Sides even if it does look a bit like a sad robot it doesn't have the great mighty dent of what was it again vibration reduction for coil whine or something???
(Yeah was curious and it seems it filled some role even if it looks like a little oopsie happened during shipping and delivery.)
