Photo Shows Alleged Gigabyte AORUS RTX 3080 Ti with 20GB Graphics memory

What looks to be an official render appeared for the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The image shows both the packaging and the video card of a Gigabyte Aorus variant. The card gets 20GB of graphics memory.

There is no news about the specifications of the RTX 3080 Ti, but the render shows that the card will get 20GB VRAM which end up being a 320bit wide memory bus. There have been several rumors about the arrival of a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or some sort of 20GB model. The latest rumors indicate the same shader count as the RTX 3090, so that leaves the difference of 24GB of Gddr6x / 384bit wide memory bus and clock frequencies for the RTX 3090.

It is unclear when a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti would get released but the timing is downright unusual.

Update: Looking at the render a bit more, it's a total fake and a rather Colorful one -- Myth busted :)

Any new cards or refreshes with more than 12gb gddr6x will have to wait for the 2gb modules. Otherwise it will be too expensive to manufacture.

As there is still a gap in pricing which could be filled by some 3080ti I think the release itself is possible (to fill this gap).
Still availability of RTX3xxx cards in Germany is not worth mentioning, prices yank up and down like crazy because (if at all) there is only one dealer for most models.

And I thought the bitcoin race was insane. But then this here is complete madness.
5 years from now on and we pay 2000€ and more for a xx60 card.
