Philips has recently introduced two new 45" ultrawide monitors: the 45B1U6900C and 45B1U6900CH. Both displays feature a 1500R curved VA panel with a 5120 x 1440 resolution, 75 Hz refresh rate, 450 nits brightness, and 128% sRGB color gamut with DisplayHDR 400 certification.

These displays share many features but differ in that the 45B1U6900CH model includes a 5 MP Windows Hello certified webcam, a noise-canceling microphone, and a headphone holder on the left side of the panel. The monitors include a variety of input options, including two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C port that can supply up to 100 watts of power. The USB hub slightly differs between the two models, with the 45B1U6900C including USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a USB-B upstream port, while the 45B1U6900CH features USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and no USB-B upstream. Both models offer four downstream USB-A ports, a USB-C downstream port that delivers up to 15 W of power, Gigabit Ethernet, an audio jack, and a pair of built-in 5 W speakers. The stand is height-adjustable, and the display can be tilted and swivelled, but not rotated.

The monitors also come with MultiView, which allows you to display two sources side by side, and a switch button allows you to quickly switch between kvm inputs. Pricing is not yet available, but the displays are expected to be cheaper than Philips' 49" ultrawides, which currently cost around €950 - €1,050.
