Philips adds a new 32-inch monitor – BDM3270QP. The WQHD 2560 x 1440 monitor is the latest in line of WQHD monitors from the company.

The BDM3270QP features WQHD 2560 x 1440 resolution with a pixel density of 91.8 PPI. That’s essentially the same pixel density as a 24-inch 1080p monitor. Unlike some of the other WQHD monitors from Philips, the BDM3270QP doesn’t use an IPS panel.

Instead, you get an AMVA panel with 5ms response time, 300cd/m² maximum brightness, 178° viewing angles and 10-bit color. philips2 One highlight of the monitor is its stand. It allows you to adjust the height of the monitor, rotate the monitor up to 90° and also offers tilt adjustments. Ports on the monitor include a dual-link DVI, DisplayPort 1.2, and HDMI 1.4. Additionally, the monitor comes with stereo audio output and 2-port USB 3.0 hub. The Philips BDM3270QP monitor is expected to be available soon and will be priced at 700 euros for the European market.
