Well it's very personal, some like the smoothness some want better colors.

I personally like 120-144hz more then better colors, i don't see a big difference anyway and i've had few IPS panels myself.

its all relative,

do you want a faster response time with a higher refresh rate?
or do you want a higher resolution with more vivid colours?

those 2 simple questions dictate what kind of monitor you should buy.
i dont like the look of this monitor... as mentioned before me that bezel is ugly as hell, the BenQ MLG monitors achieve the same goal (albeit 120hz instead of 144hz) and look significantly better - atleast in my opinion
