Philips has introduced the "27E1N8900 / 27" 27-inch 4K organic EL display with USB Type-C connectivity. The use of an organic EL panel allows for a contrast ratio of 1,000,000: 1, which is difficult to attain with a standard liquid crystal display. 

Furthermore, it has been certified as having Display HDR 400 True Black, which allows for a more exquisite depiction of black. Also included is a USB Type-C connector that can offer up to 90W of power, allowing for both video output and charging to be achieved with a single cable when used in conjunction with a laptop/computer. There are a number of important specifications, including frame rate 60Hz, response time 0.1ms, brightness 250cd/m2 (peak 540cd/m2), color gamut DCI-P3 99.7 percent, NTSC 119%, and a very impressive sRGB 150 percent / Adobe RGB 99.6 percent. the viewing angles are Horizontal/vertical at 178 degrees, and display color of 1.07 billion colors.
