PC version of Assassins Creed 3 should be just fine

In a Reddit IAMA discussion, Ubisoft's employees have revealed some interesting new information about the PC version of Assassin's Creed 3. According to Gabe Graziani, Ubisoft's Community Developer, the PC version will be packed with DX11 features, and that all the bug fixes - that will be coming to the console versions - will be available from the get-go. Ubisoft's employees also stated that the controls of the PC version will be fine: "PC will be fine AFAIK in terms of mouse and keyboard; the frontier is by far my favourite of the new settings; I generally play as The Hunstman in MP! :)"

Hey there Assassins! Welcome to our Assassin’s Creed III Reddit AMAA! I’m Gabe Graziani, Senior Community Developer on AC3, and I will be helping to get your questions answered by our developers today! With AC3 released on console and the impending PC and WiiU launches, we are very excited to see what kind of questions you’ve got for our team!

Joining us in this AMAA are:

Now, without further ado, let’s see what’s on your mind! (thanks ggmania)

I'm disappointed that any of you buy anything from Ubisoft. They're never getting a cent out of me again.

I'm sorry I disappointed you! :). I'm sure the Ubisoft guys are to blame for many things, but I really enjoyed the AC series so they are totally worth what I paid for them.

 I do hope so. I'm so excited for this game.

Assassins Creed 3, Far Cry 3, and Dead Space 3 are all the games I'm waiting for.

With the exception of GOG games, Ubisoft games these days have the least amount of DRM.

Feck knows about optimisation though, probably 30-60fps for me, the textures alone will make this card struggle.
