Patriot Releases Viper Steel DDR4 16GB 4400MHz Extreme Performance Memory

Title makes it seem like these are 16GB sticks, they are in fact 16GB kits, so 8GB sticks. Nothing to see here.

We are a long way away from 16GB module 4400MHz memory sticks, may not see them intill DDR5, the highest i have seen in 16GB is 3733MHz and that's with pretty loose timings. If they did do it, it would be like CL 22/22/22/45 timings which would make them useless

Presently we're at 16GB 4000MHZ XMPs from OEMs - it's possible that those could be overclocked to run at 4400MHZ but I wouldn't know - You'd think so but chances are you'd have to loosen the timings quite a bit and add a reasonable voltage bump.

ОК, DDR4 3200 but a further increase above 4200 17 17 28 leads to performance degradation other than benchmarks!
