OEM leaks say GeForce RTX 4090 24GB is in production.

OEM leaks say GeForce RTX 4090 24GB is in production.

Documents claim the next-gen NVIDIA GPUs are already built. Images released on Baidu by users imply that GeForce RTX 4090 has been in production since August 16th.

Documents show four RTX 4090 production slots, likely for two variants. Each row shows a production line's hours and GPUs processed. Supposedly, the RTX 4090 has an AD102 GPU and 24GB VRAM. Four display connectors would be included (3x DP & 1x HDMI). The 16th was set for manufacture.

NVIDIA is expected to launch its GeForce RTX 40 series in October. This leak may confirm that the RTX 4090 SKU is in production. Factory-made cards take a few weeks to reach retailers. Assuming no complications and timely specs. The BIOS and GPU frequencies can still be adjusted, but confirm the RAM setup.

Well, while the price and power consumption are bound to be crap, at least there shouldn't be any complaints about there not being enough VRAM.

Haven't the power consumption figure rumours become more realistic over the months? Last I remember people commenting they won't be much different from the 3000 series, tier for tier. But who knows. I reckon Nvidia would want to take everything out of 4090, it being the flagship, but the lower models might be more tolerable.
