OCZ Vertex 460 - More Details
OCZ is about to release the Vertex 460. The SSD will perform up-to 550 MB/s with roughly 80K IOPS (4K QD32) and (obviously) will make use of Toshiba NAND flash memory fabbed at 19nm. The controller will be the Barefoot 3 M10. Basically the product makes use of the same architecture as the recently reviewed Vector 150 but at a cheaper price. A focus for the product is endurance and OCZ rates this product at 20 GB/day for five years.
OCZ will release three models, the flavors will be a 120, 240 and 480 GB version. You'll receive Acronis Backup/Clone software with the package for free as well. Though prices are not disclosed just yet the product will be cheaper then the 150 series and will receive a three year warranty.

You're pretty late to the game if you think they still have those issues. Most of that got better back in the Vertex 3 days and really shrunk during Vertex 4. There have been multiple series since then.

How can OCZ release anything when they filed for bankruptcy at the end of last year....? Is Toshiba behind this?

Just to be clear,
Toshiba bought OCZ's SSD Devision only, not the whole company group of OCZ Technology.
