OCZ Vertex 4 SSD 256GB and 512GB review

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 04/05/2012 04:16 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

We review the OCZ Vertex 4 256 and 512GB SSD. Armed with a new Indilinx Everest 2 controller this SSD is advertised as one of the fastest on the block with screaming IOPs performance. Obviously it will pack a 6Gbps SATA interface and big NAND Flash memory partitions.

This SATA3 version as such can deliver speeds of up to 535MB/s of bandwidth and 85K 4KB IOPS.

Lets have a look shall we ?
