OCZ Vertex 4 Firmware 1.4.1.3 download

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/12/2012 03:48 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

OCZ released a new firmware update for their Vertex 4 based SSDs. The new revision 1.4.1.3 solves threefold of things. Normally you can not update the firmware if your SSD is a Windows System drive however you can download this little tool that will allow you to reflash the firmware without any dataloss (make a backup none the less).

If it ain't broke for you, then don't try to fix it.

Enhancement:

  • Improved RAID card compatibility.

Fixed:

  • Corner case issue where drive would not resume from S3/S4 properly.
  • Rare issue where some platforms would not respond correctly after a cold boot.
