OCZ Agility SSD Series Announced

The SSD market is getting really confusing with all those new SSD series being announced, but it seems OCZ is trying to make things simpler actually, as the today introduced Agility series of SSDs is supposed to replace the existing Core and Solid SSD series which are trying to target the mainstream segment.

In a press release they introduced the new Agility series in 30GB, 60GB and 120 GB variants and with specifications that are close to the Vertex series in many aspects:

  • available in 30GB (30), 60GB (64), 120GB (128) capacities
  • 64MB Onboard Cache
  • Seek Time: <.1ms
  • Slim 2.5" Design
  • 99.8 x 69.63 x 9.3mm
  • Lightweight 77g
  • Operating Temp: 0C ~ 70C
  • Storage Temp: -45C ~ +85C
  • Low Power Consumption: 2W in operation, .5W in stand by
  • Shock Resistant 1500G
  • RAID Support
  • MTBF 1.5 million hours
  • 2 year warranty
