NZXT KRAKEN X31 AIO Water Cooling

NZXT KRAKEN X31 AIO Water Cooling

We already posted that NZXT updated their LCS kits. OCuK re taking pre-orders on the brand new NZXT Kraken X31 which is an All-In-One watercooling unit designed to give you the very best cooling with variable speed control. Featuring one of the best 120mm format radiators seen on an All-In-One cooling unit, the X31 is a product that system builders have been crying out for. Before, NZXT only had offerings with an AIO cooler in the 140mm size, now today this has changed and they now offer the X31 which is an 120mm radiator and fan, giving the user a huge range of flexibility.

Although the radiator is smaller compared to previous models, due to the new FX120 V2 fan, the NZXT X31 cooler performs comparably along with being extremely quiet. With improved mounting hardware and extended tubing, making the Kraken X31 a breeze to install. The FX120 V2 fan has a high static pressure and low noise output which is perfect for this unit, to ensure effectiveness and also quietness. Making this fan the perfect match along with the radiator.

With the NZXT X31 being the first variable speed controlled All-In-One watercooling unit, this means you can use the NZXT CAM, which is an All-In-One software to allow you to have full control over your speed and noise of the unit. But it is not only the fan you can adjust, this software can also control the pump too, meaning you can control the RPM which are pre-defined or the user can set parameters.

Features:

  • NZXT CAM allows you to control your Kraken X31's fan speeds and other custom cooling settings through its Kraken+ module.
  • Large tower support with extended tubing and pre-installed Intel mounting for easy use.
  • FX120 V2 120mm PWM fan for performance radiator cooling and optimized static pressure.
  • 6 Year Warranty.

I am getting an NZXT X60 very soon to replace my Silverstone TD02 which has performed well but has a defect block.

Does NZXT releasing this new 120mm rad now mean we are going to see a newer version of their X40 and X60?? I need to know as I don't want to purchase something and then have something better come out the week after.

The only thing I take issue with is this part. "With the NZXT X31 being the first variable speed controlled All-In-One watercooling unit"
The Corsair h100i can do that and has been out for ages or am I missing something?
