NVMe SSD AORUS Gen4 7000s Prem. With GIGABYTE and M.2 Thermal Guard XTREME

Gigabyte officially announced the NVMe M.2 SSD AORUS Gen4 7000s Prem.Equipped with M.2 Thermal Guard XTREME.

The NVMe products support PCI-Express4.0 (x4). There are two models with capacities of 1TB and 2TB, both with a form factor of M.2 2280. The product is equipped with a large heat sink "M.2 Thermal Guard XTREME" consisting of two heat pipes with nanocarbon coating and aluminum fins. In addition, the SSD is sandwiched between two thermal pads to improve cooling performance, and thermal throttling can be completely eliminated even when the airflow inside the case is low.

The controller is Phison "E18", the NAND flash is a high-speed 3D TLC, equipped with a DRAM cache and SLC cache. The transfer speed of the 1TB model is 7,000MB / sec for sequential reading, 5,500MB / sec for writing, 350,000 IOPS for random reading, and 700,000 IOPS for writing. The 2TB models are 7,000MB / sec, 6,850MB / sec, 650,000 IOPS, and 700,000 IOPS, respectively.

MTBF is 1.6 million hours, write endurance is 700TBW for 1TB, 1,400TBW for 2TB, external dimensions are width 23.5mm, depth 92mm, height 44.7mm. Product warranty is 5 years.
