(Updated) Two new graphics cards, similar to the RTX 4070 Ti in terms of the AD104 chip they'd use, will enter mass production within the next few months.
A model with an AD104-251 GPU, for instance, is expected to enter production in the second half of March, while manufacturing of a model with an AD104-250 GPU will begin in the second half of February. There's a good chance it's the RTX 4060 Ti or RTX 4070, as they both use the same AD104-400 chip. There is no mention of a release date, although the Computex trade exhibition at the end of May is a plausible possibility. The AD104-250 is rumoured to be Nvidia's first choice for the RTX 4070, while the AD106-350 is expected to power the RTX 4060. 5,888 and 4,352 cuda cores (23.3 and 43, respectively).
Update: Kopite7kimi has revised the RTX 4060 Ti's power requirements, claiming that the rumoured GPU uses only 160 watts of electricity. A point of comparison: the RTX 3060 Ti, its immediate predecessor, has a tdp of 200 W. This corresponds with what has been reported thus far. One of the most notable features of the RTX 4060 Ti is its support for ray tracing. Ray tracing is a technology that allows for more realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections in games and other content. This means that games will look more lifelike, with more accurate and detailed lighting, shadows, and reflections. The RTX 4060 also supports DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), which can significantly improve the performance of games that support it.
In terms of performance, the RTX 4060 Ti would be capable of delivering excellent gaming performance at 1080p and 1440p resolutions.
