NVIDIA is rumored to develop AI-optimized drivers that will boost GPU performance by up to 30%. This could provide a significant free upgrade to its users while also revolutionizing the way NVIDIA develops game drivers.

The company's first driver is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2022. This is the first report of AI-powered driver development. Because chipmakers are already using artificial intelligence to improve chip research and development, this could result in significant improvements in GPU performance. The AI would gain access to the driver and optimize performance, hardware utilization, threads, and their configuration, among other things. This implies that artificial intelligence would also improve the driver's stability.

However, the average performance boost is said to be 10%, with a maximum of 30%. We believe this will differ depending on the game. Again, this is just a rumor, and there have been no official announcements from NVIDIA. Based on what we know, these AI-optimized drivers may not even exist. As a result, we will have to wait for the company to issue a statement. However, if this is true, AI will forever change the way NVIDIA develops drivers. In addition to improving performance, it may reduce the time and cost required for the company to release new updates. And, if AI progresses far enough, we may see it improve GPU performance in non-gaming applications.
