Nvidia Releases Quadro M6000 and it has 24GB vram

Nvidia released and updated the Quadro M6000, the new version sits in their Pro product line and now has been fitted with an amazing 24 GB of video memory.

The GPU is still based on the Gm200 with 3072 shader processors and a max Boost frequency of 1.14 GHz. The 24GB is based on 8 GB-gddr5 chips, the product is still based on a 250 Watt TDP.

The memory bus also remains 384-bit wide that offers 317 GB/s of bandwidth. The graphics card can supply four screens with 4K with its four DP 1.2 connectors. It also has one DVI connector. If if want it, you gotta go deep ... 5000 dollar deep. The card obviously is meant for the professional market and is available starting March 22nd.

Different drivers and 12 GB of extra VRAM compared to Titan X.

Not a good deal if you ask me, but...

$5000 for what exactly?

Apparently for last member of soon-to-be-obsolete hardware.

You can have 8 of those and in 6~8 months replace them with 4, reaching higher performance while eating less power.
