Nvidia powers the PC at GamesCom

NVIDIA today announced an electrifying lineup of the biggest games of 2013 for Gamescom, Europe’s biggest gaming expo. From August 21st to the 25th visitors to the NVIDIA booth, Hall 8/C30, will be able to get hands on with some of this winter’s most exciting titles like Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag from Ubisoft. Guest presentations from the likes of Activision, Wargaming and 2K will provide never before seen content and it is the opportunity to be one of the first in Europe to get hands on with NVIDIA SHIELD.

The NVIDIA booth in Hall 8/C30 is powered by the latest PCs featuring the award winning GeForce GTX 700 Series graphics cards. See the latest titles the way they are meant to be played. Try your hand at espionage with Splinter Cell® Blacklist™ or set sail for bounty with Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag – both are fully playable at the booth.

The NVIDIA stage is the place to be for brand new trailers and gameplay footage from upcoming blockbusters including Assassin’s Creed® IV Black Flag, and The Witcher 3. Special guests include Activision who will showcasing Call of Duty: Ghosts, Warner who will take you on a journey to an expanded Gotham City with Batman: Arkham Origins and 2K who are preparing a security cleared viewing of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. There are also further presentations from Wargaming, Meteor, SEO, Infinite Games and some yet to be announced special titles.

At Activision’s booth, located in Hall 7, attendees can get a GeForce GTX-powered world exclusive hands-on demo of Call of Duty: Ghosts, which will be running on PC, in public, for the very first time. Complementing this world exclusive, Activision’s developers will present further info about the game and its new DirectX 11 tech on our stage at the times listed on the following pages.

Over at Ubisoft’s booth, located in Hall 6, attendees can play a different Assassin’s Creed® IV demo on GeForce GTX hardware, and they can also check out a GeForce GTX-powered Watch_Dogs demo, played on a big-screen by Ubisoft's staff, who will show a segment of gameplay and commentate the action, giving attendees a greater insight into one of the year's most anticipated games.

At Warner Bros.’s booth, located in Hall 9/A-011, attendees can check out the firm's upcoming titles, but only at our booth, on our stage, will attendees learn about the PC version of Batman: Arkham Origins and its exclusive PC-only enhancements. For times, refer to the schedule on the following pages.

And finally, at CD Projekt Red’s invite-only trade booth, the press will be shown the much-anticipated Witcher 3 on GeForce GTX PCs. On our stage, at our booth, attendees can check out Witcher 3 presentations, which will include a tasty tech vid, demonstrating some of the next-gen features being integrated into the action role-playing game.

Gamescom 2013 will also be an opportunity for European gamers to see NVIDIA SHIELD. Eurogamer.net said “Let’s cut straight to the chase: NVIDIA SHIELD is a superb, state-of-the-art handheld product.” 1. Attendees will walk away being one of the lucky few to have played it first.

During the entire of Gamescom 2013 NVIDIA will be giving away GeForce GTX 700 series graphics cards alongside thousands of other NVIDIA goodies.

Guru3D will be attending GamesCom this year as well.

Nvidia does not need to bundle games to sell cards and they know it. 150 in game cash fot free to play games. That was an Awful promotion.
