NVIDIA Miracast WiFi Display, Will Bring It To Tegra

Completely missed this a couple of days ago but WiFi Alliance, the company behind WiFi, introduced a new WiFi Display certification program called Miracast at the end of May. Miracast when launched (sometime in August) will let users stream audio and video directly from mobile devices to HDTVs without the need for cables or an existing wireless network.

NVIDIA has announced their full support for this program. They plan to implement this technology in their Tegra chips which will open gates to many possibilities. To begin with it
