Nvidia lowers GeForce GTX 1080 Price with 100 USD
At GDC 2017 Nvidia just announced that the price of the GeForce GTX 1080 has been dropped with $ 100 (effective immediately) down to $ 499.
We are not sure if the prices take effect worldwide right away as well but it looks like it as prices for the cheapest model right now hoevers in the €639 range but thus should be €569 range. Nvidia stated nothing on prices of other series 10 GeForce cards like the GTX 1060 and 1070. Considering the 1070 is occupying that price bracket, it should drop in price as well.

$1 has never actually = £1, but if you include tax it does appear 1080's are dropping by around £100 though.
Cheapest pre tax 1080 on Newegg is $507 while Scan has one for £396.
So, if $1 = £1 as rip off pricing in the UK goes, we'll be seeing all 1080's drop by £100 in the UK then will we?

haha yea right, more likely they'll correctly convert the $1 to the £1 for the price drop
