NVIDIA Launches GeForce MX150 For Laptops

NVIDIA Launches GeForce MX150 For Laptops

It's been a while since we've seen anything MX from Nvidia, typically a value product and that seems to be the case with the GeForce MX150 graphics processor laptops.

According to Nvidia Acer, HP, Asus, Clevo and MSI will all be embedding the new GPy into some of their laptop models. Nvidia has not been sharing any specification on the product, however it should be up-tp 4x faster than a Intel HD620-gpu as used in Kaby lake processors.

On the product page as stated, specs are missing. the manufacturers can change the specifications withing the laptop configuration. The MX150 however is based upon the same GP108 GPU that launched earlier last week as the GeForce GT 1030. That GPU has 384 shader processors, a 64-bit memory bus and 2 GB GDDR5 memory.

GeForce MX150 based laptops will hit the stores roughly half June.

That's not much of an upgrade to a 660.
