NVIDIA is listing 21 Games with RTX Support
During the Gamescom NVIDIA event yesterday, the presentation on the new RTX cards, of course, was raytracing supported games. One slide caught my interest, showing 21 titles that are going to support RTS.
For RTX to succeed, they need proper implementation. And it seems that NVIDIA has been working hard with many game developers to get the new technology supported. The slide shown shows 21 titles with Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Battlefield V having support at launch from what we heard.
- Ark: Survival Evolved
- Assetto Corsa Competizione
- Atomic Heart (2019)
- Battlefield V
- Control
- Dauntless
- In Death
- Enlisted
- Final Fantasy XV
- The Forge Arena
- Fractured Lands
- Hitman 2
- Justice
- JX3
- Mechwarrior V: Mercenaries
- Metro Exodus
- PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds
- Remnant from the Ashes (2019)
- Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider
- We Happy Few

Currently used methods for shadow, lightning, reflection, refraction... are cheap methods in comparison to raytracing and deliver better results.
Raytracing for shadows in jungle terrain where you have grass on ground... Good Luck getting anything but blob shadow or somewhat bad shadows from main light source.
Entire raytracing is good enough to do better AO and better reflections as HW simply can't do all that heavy lifting required by quality light tracing.
deliver "better" results.. surely not
