NVIDIA reported through its website that the lack of stock of graphics cards will continue for pretty much the remainder of the year.

Executive vice president and chief financial officer of NVIDIA, Colette Kress, indicated that demand continues to be much higher than supply, recognizing that the stock of graphics products is quite scarce. Kress mentioned that the situation will continue for much of 2021, although most likely nothing will change until next year.

“Overall demand is still very strong and continues to outpace supply , while our channel inventories are still quite tight. We expect demand to continue to outpace supply for much of this year. We believe we will have enough supply to support sequential growth beyond the first quarter, ” Kress revealed.

“Within the Data Center we have good visibility, and we look forward to another strong year. Industries are increasingly using AI to improve their products and services. We expect this to lead to more consumption of our platform through cloud service providers, which will translate into more purchases as we progress through the year. Our EGX platform has strong momentum, and we expect this to drive revenue growth from edge and enterprise computing deployments in the second half of the year, ” the executive said.
