NVIDIA GTX 1070 Ti 3DMark Benchmark Results
We talked about the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti for numerous times now, it was bound to happen as the first 3DMark results have arrived of the product. Benchmark results for the GTX 1070 Ti for 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme and Time Spy.
According to this early rsult set the card beats the AMD's Radeon RX Vega 56 in the Time Spy benchmark which kind of is the point for this product. In Strike Extreme the two are tight and close together. The results sets have been spotted by videocardz. It will be intersting to see what the AIB partners have to offer with the custom models, clock frequencies and final drivers.
I have added the fastest GPU score result set into the mix of our own charts, for a bit of comparison and overview. That pretty much will paint the pictures and seems spot on really. you can also really tell what Nvidia has been aiming for, a product that trumps the Vega 56. Below you can click and check the result sets from videocardz.

according to 3dcenter and posts on their forum it seems that indeed Nvidia has been having the problem of 1070Ti being too close in to 1080
having almost the same number of shaders and then either some games do not care about bandwidth (or perhaps GDDR5X not being as efficient as GDDR5, remember GPU mining?) has made them experiment with different BIOSes in order to tame the little beast

Since this card reminds me of the 560 Ti 448 core and that card when OC'ed was close to a Stock 570 in terms of Performance. Did that card eat into the 570's sales I don't think so because an OC'ed 570 would really out perform a 560 ti 448 core. I don't see how the 1070 ti would eat 1080 sales if you have good overclock on your 1080 wouldn't that really out perform a good OC'ed 1070 Ti?
the 570' were not much faster then the 448 when both were over clocked
the only things the fo foty 8 has in common with the 70ti
it comes after 1 and a half years after its brothers flooded in the market
its placement against amd
sure no dought overclocking as the norm with the card don't let them scare you and when you do you will have a cheap 1080.
its all about price atm
one thing and maybe the greatest it wont have Is unlocked bios for voltage cooling and clock speeds
the one I hate the most ....no tri voltage in afterburner
when done right you are running 580 numbers at times
so really this card is no 448.

Your right there , and if vega 56 wasnt around it would still happen! Milking the same cow, the product virtually give or take, but get more for it.

@BReal85
So compare performance of two cards with one being oced and the other not, right.
The ti has 500 cores more, you will never be able to make up for that with oc.
And as soon as the ti is oced, it will faster again...
