NVIDIA GM107 Maxwell Silicon Photo's
Yesterday some benchmarks and specs already leaked through a written review from a hardware store in the UK, today some new photo's emerged of the NVIDIA GM107 silicons sitting in a tray. NVIDIA GM107 is based on Maxwell GPU architecture and will initially power the GeForce GTX 750 and Ti. The die is estimated to roughly 156 mm²,
The 750 Ti will get 960 CUDA cores, 80 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The card is equipped with 2GB GDDR5 memory and 128-bit interface. In terms of clocks, depending on brand/oem 1050+ MHz. The GTX 750 will get 768 CUDA cores, 64 TMUs and 16 ROPs, with just 1GB graphics memory though. The TDP of the GTX 750 Ti is estimated to be 75 Watt. Anyway, booty shots, courtesy of videocardz:

NVIDIA G-Sync review - 12/13/2013 09:01 AM

My bet for the GM110 and Maxwell in general is its going to be another "High-end" *wink wink* mid-range card with more ram than sense, then well see an over-expensive Titan like card, that will in turn be beaten by a ti variant "high-end" that'll cost a few hundred less, after that well see a million mid-range etc ti versions of the 850,860 & 870.
I dont see anything this year except maybe Star Citizen and The Witcher 3 being all that taxing to warrant an upgrade. I think most current High-end users here could probably last another year or 2 just by going X-fire or SLI.

Thats why I`ll wait for the 20 nm Maxwell refresh, they will leave the best for the end, just like they did with Kepler, until then all I need is a G-Sync monitor.

Probably because it's still on 28nm..wait for 20nm
It was supposed to be way more power-efficient than the 600/700 series. 75W doesn't look too good for low-end card, unless they switch the naming and x50 becomes mid-range.
